Belgium...The land of french fries
I created this page according a January sketch by Rochelle Spears for Sketches in Thyme.
This picture was taken during a trip to La Roche-En-Ardenne, Belgium in June 2014.
What people don't know apart from belgian and french people is that french fries (frites) are actually not from France but from Belgium.
We either cook them at home or we find them in the french fries shops (friterie) everywhere in the country. We eat them with so many kind of sauces and sometimes a special mix of spices: mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue, samouraï, american, tartare, ...
